Wilson UMC would like to encourage everyone to participate in at least one mission opportunity every year. In addition to the international mission trips, there are a number of local opportunities.
Karin Agee is working on filling Wilson Church's 2017 teams that serve at the soup kitchen on the 4th Sunday of each month. If you are interested in learning more about this ministry (which falls under the umbrella of Westside CARES), please contact Karin.
Wilson volunteers also serve with Meals on Wheels and more people are needed to help on the 5th Tuesday of each month. If you would like to serve in this way, please contact Bev Taylor.
Did You Know?

Feast of St. Arnold - Sat, June 10
This family-friendly celebration features tastings of craft specialties: brews, wines, and spirits. The emphasis is on beer, but man does not by beer alone! Live music, family activities that include a designated Kids Zone full of fun activities, tours of the century old estate (if only the walls could talk), and appearances of good olde Saint Arnold complement the day's activities. This event is staffed by volunteers and benefits Westside CARES and the missions of Chapel of Our Savior Episcopal Church. General admission; Noon - 4:30. General Admission Tickets: $35.00; 20 years of age and under free with ticketed guest. Designated drivers also get in free. Limited number of VIP tickets: $75.00.
