Missionary efforts have been a key part of our efforts to share and spread the beautiful message of Jesus Christ around the globe. We’ve been fortunate to have played a role in some incredible projects and are very much looking forward to future trips.
Wilson UMC would like to encourage everyone to participate in at least one mission opportunity every year. In addition to the international mission trips, there are a number of local opportunities.
Our missions have taken us to Haiti and Costa Rica to name a few, where we’ve been able to construct furniture, systems and even buildings for local schools and communities.
A mission trip will not only go down as an incredible memory you’re not soon to forget but can be transformative spiritually. It will open your heart up in ways it perhaps never has and offer a perspective that will have you valuing life on a whole new level.
